December 2019 ultrasound classes
I'm so behind adding all our groups!!! Session 1 classes were so much fun!
Christmas photos! $25 for a 30 minute session for one child with one goat.
3 different goat options
3 possible "outfit" options for the goat
snowman tree
Add $5 per extra person, and $10 per extra goat (up to 3)
Our 1pm session was a smaller group but we still enjoyed the goats.
Phoenix started the class off for us with her wonderful manners and Dezzy finished it up. Good job girls and thank you kids!!!
We hope everyone enjoyed their class today!
Our 10am group went wonderfully.
Clou Boc and Sage were the lucky ladies who got their ultrasounds and they actually came when I called their names and went immediately to the milk stand like good girls. They were perfect behaved for the kids! I'm so proud of my girls for representing the farm well.
Thankyou homeschoolers for coming and playing/learning at the farm today!
Our farm has signed up to host Linear Appraisal again! We know this will be between April and September but dont have a schedule yet!
If you have ADGA goats and want to participate follow the link below to sign up now!

We also will welcome those who are interested in showing, 4H students and others to watch this event.
PM for more details!
We are thrilled to announce our first ever homeschool days!
Our session 1 classes are all full!
We decided to open the farm to 3 separate educational farm days for homeschool families who may not get to experience goats otherwise. This will also be our chance for community outreach, and each session will have a Biblical theme also.
Session 1: Sanctity of Life, Gods Creation
We will be going over basic goat terms, and goat breeding and pregnancy. We will be doing on site ultrasounds with the kids as we learn about stages of development in the womb.
Session 2: Gods miracles and blessings
We will be focusing on goat births, and the birthing process, new born goat care and touch on basic genetics! The kids will get to experience and watch a goat in labor. We will also be having a contest for our homeschool participants to apply what they learned about genetics to try to predict the baby goat colors/patterns/eye color ect! The contest wont be complete until the last goat kids in April.
Session 3: Gods provision and plan
This session will focus on milking goats, the proper sanitation and storage of milk. We will discuss raw vs pasteurized milk and taste test samples from alpines vs Nigerians and discuss the differences.
Because of the above expected participation we will have to sell discounted milk for at home cheese making projects instead of giving each family a gallon!
If you have any questions or want a copy of the session 1 lesson plans we have that available by request to be emailed.
